Since 1986 Lauran has been passionate about sharing Jesus' hope and healing with those caught up in human trafficking and prostitution--and offering prevention opportunities for those at risk. She served as the first Director of the New Life Center in Chiang Mai, Thailand for 14 years before God led her in 2001 to share her pioneering experiences as a Global Consultant. She is now based in The Netherlands, from which she travels extensively, encouraging Christians in their involvement in anti-trafficking endeavors. She is founder and Coordinator of the International Christian Alliance on Prostitution (ICAP), which offers resources, networks, and conferencing to ministries with people in prostitution.
