Located in Berkeley, California, across the bay from San Francisco, ABSW is just a few blocks south of the University of California.
The Graduate Theological Union Library, as well as the campuses of several other GTU seminaries can be reached by taking a twenty minute walk north across the University campus.
Depending on traffic, the Seminary is a thirty to forty-five minute drive from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and about twenty minutes from Oakland International Airport (OAK).
PARKING/PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Come by BART, plus 1 AC Transit Bus
· Take BART to the Rockridge BART Station
· At the Rockridge BART station and College Avenue, board AC Transit bus #51/ Broadway, headed North. Pay $2
· Get off at College Avenue and Dwight Way
· Walk west on Dwight 1½ blocks to ABSW at 2606 Dwight Way
· Special Note: The #51/Broadway comes every 8 minutes. The ride takes 15 minutes, and the westward walk to ABSW is downhill, just a few minutes more.

· Take BART to the Downtown Berkeley BART Station
· Walk South on Shattuck Ave towards Allston Way (.4 miles)
· Turn left on Dwight Way and walk to campus (.6 miles)

· $8 All-Day at First Presbyterian Church of BerkeleyTo get there: From Dwight, travel north on Telegraph (it’s one-way). Turn left onto Channing. First Presbyterian Church’s parking garage is on the left, mid-block on Channing
· $11 All-Day at Douglas Parking on Durant at BowditchTo get there: from Dwight, travel north on Telegraph (it’s one-way). Turn right onto Durant. Douglas Parking is on your right, at the far end of the block
· $11 All-Day at Douglas Parking on BowditchTo get there: travel east on Dwight (it’s one-way), and immediately past the ABSW building, turn left onto Bowditch. Travel straight a few blocks toward Bancroft, finding Public Parking on your left
Take it to the Streets
Parking is limited on neighborhood streets, and from Monday-Saturday parking is limited to 2 hours in one place. Meters cost a quarter for each 12 minutes, with a 2 hour limit. Closer to UC Berkeley, parking meters are computerized to take plastic payment. Please note that a parking ticket runs around $40 in Berkeley.
