"The Holy One will guide you continually, and satisfy your needs in parched places, and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters never fail.”   Isaiah 58:11

COMMUNITY

We worship. We study. We reflect. We share. We struggle with difficult ideas and celebrate diverse backgrounds and religious experiences. We work to build understanding upon which true Christian community can grow.

Indeed, community is the heart of seminary education at ABSW. The  curriculum includes interactive faculty-student groups that serve as communities of theological learning, spiritual inquiry, and ministerial preparation. This emphasis on Christian community is also developed in the larger life of ABSW as students, faculty, and staff share in times of worship and participate in a variety of community gatherings.

Above all, as a community we work to prepare men and women  for leadership in ministry - church and para-church organizations - and all that it means to serve the Gospel in community.
