GOING TO THE ABCUSA MISSION SUMMIT?

IF SO, DON’T MISS BREAKFAST WITH ABSW

ABSW invites all our family members and friends who are planning to attend the ABCUSA Mission Summit/Biennial in Overland Park, KS to join us for our breakfast on Saturday, June 22. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with former classmates, meet other ABSW family members, and introduce someone new to ABSW and our mission.

Our breakfast program will feature speaker, Rev. Marie Onwubuariri speaking on “Our Multi-__ Landscape: Scenes for Theological Education,” responses from President Paul Martin and Academic Dean LeAnn Snow Flesher, the presentation of the Alum of the Year award, and more.

Rev. Marie Onwubuariri currently serves ABSW Director of Admissions, is an ’04 MDiv alumna, and current DMin student. She also is the national President of the Asian American Baptist Caucus of ABCUSA, a member of the ABCUSA Emerging Theologian Task Force, and a cross-cultural competency trainer/consultant with i-Relate. Rev. Marie has been involved in various parts of the denomination: Xtreme Team Leader, Young Adult delegate to National Council of Churches of Christ, local Ministers Council Treasurer, regional and national guest speaker/preacher, and served as Pastor of MacArthur Community Baptist Church, San Pablo, CA.
