Lauran Bethell, MDiv, DD, has been working for more than two decades on behalf of and caring for women who have been exploited and abused. In 2005 she received the Human Rights Award from Baptist World alliance for her work with at risk women trapped in prostitution. Rev. Dr. Bethell is a 1985 graduate of ABSW.

FACULTY NEWS

 

Dr. LeAnn Snow Flesher will be the presenter at a dessert reception on Saturday, May 26 at 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall of Seattle First Baptist Church. No RSVP is necessary. Meet Dr. Flesher, hear about what is happening at ABSW, and enjoy an evening with friends and colleagues.  

On Sunday, May 27, Dr. Flesher will be presenting her book, Left Behind: Facts behind the Fiction (Judson, 2006) during the 9:30 am Adult Learning Session at Seattle First Baptist Church. Dr. Flesher will also be preaching at the 11:00 am Pentecost service. All are welcome.
